Job Announcement: Account Executive

Purpose

To create and maintain long-term profitable relationships with customers through the sale of Remote Control Technology products and services.

Accountability
  • To achieve personal sales quota by securing orders through outbound and inbound sales calls.
  • To develop assigned territory, using creative and proactive methodologies, to meet management goals and objectives.
  • To determine customers' needs and provide customers with a solution that solves their problem.
  • This position reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager.
Duties
  • Initiate outbound sales and respond to inbound customer requests.
  • Utilize email and facsimile technology to communicate and market to assigned territory.
  • Develop and maintain a working relationship with customers.
  • Achieve sales budget by achieving personal monthly sales quota.
  • Maintain accurate and timely record of each sales call transaction by utilizing contact management and ACT! software.
  • Attend all sales meetings and participate in all training classes as requested by management.
  • Accurately place all orders by confirming specific product needs, utilizing correct part numbers and verifying all shipping addresses.
  • Maintain information about competitive products and services.
  • To provide management with market information.
  • Work with management to develop effective marketing tools.
  • Work with the Sales Team to achieve Team goals, Team integrity and Team trust.
  • Work with management and help achieve the company goals.
  • Maintain accurate files and an organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Sales and Marketing Manager
  • Comply with all corporate policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Two years proven, successful, inside/telephone sales experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self starter with strong work ethic.
  • Understanding of competitive products and markets.
  • Organized, accurate and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of software industry and accounting principles.
  • Understanding of business needs and practices.
  • Proficient in use of PC and Windows OS applications.
  • Ability to think outside the box.
  • Must be a team player.

Attire: Casual Business Attire.
